If not, you only see whatever effects the rituals have. if any of these characters is related to the ruler then you, the player, have some influence over them. if these characters are disloyal, rivals of the ruler, or irreligious then the omens are more likely to go badly! The Military Rituals only happen when you are at war, and the Naval Rituals happen much more frequently when you are at war. There are 4 military Omens and two Naval ones. your Legate and Admiral conduct rituals to the Gods of War and Sea respectively. They affect stability, character loyalty and ruler popularity There are 5 modifiers which are triggered by these rituals. your High Priest conduct rituals to the Chief God from time to time.
